Riyadh : We extend our sincere gratitude to the Indian Embassy in Riyadh for their invaluable support and guidance in enabling this humanitarian effort. Their assistance played a critical role in facilitating the safe repatriation of Mr. Balakishan, who had been undergoing extensive treatment for a severe brain stroke.
Thanks to the collective efforts of the Global Telangana Forum, team president Moh’d jabbar and his team and hospital staff, and the Kafeel of Mr. Balakishan, the patient has now successfully traveled from Sanad Hospital, Riyadh to Hyderabad, India via Air India Express.
Mr. Balakishan had been battling the effects of a brain stroke for the past five months, during which he remained in a coma for two months. Despite undergoing two brain surgeries, which were unfortunately unsuccessful, he has shown remarkable progress and has now regained consciousness. While he is still unable to speak and has paralysis on his right side, he is able to recognize people and remains mentally alert.
The discharge process was made possible through continuous coordination between the hospital, the Kafeel, and representatives of the Global Telangana Forum.
Mr. Balakishan is being escorted by his village head, Mr. Satish, and his flight is expected to arrive in Hyderabad at 10:50 PM today.
We have reached out to the Chief Minister of Telangana, Shri Revanth Reddy, and the NRI Coordination Team, led by Mr. Bheem Reddy, who have assured their full support for Mr. Balakishan’s ongoing treatment and rehabilitation in Telangana.
Special thanks to:
• Indian Embassy, Riyadh – for supporting this noble cause.
• Hussain Shabbir – for providing a wheelchair.
• Global Telangana Forum – for handling the hospital discharge, financial settlement, and logistical arrangements.
• All volunteers, supporters, and officials – whose efforts made this mission possible.
We humbly request the continued support of the Telangana Government in providing Mr. Balakishan with the necessary medical care and rehabilitation services as he begins the next phase of his recovery in India.
